I’m (close to being) ready for my close-up, Mister DeMille.

Um, yeah. So I redesigned.
I got tired of pink and I wanted to clean up the cruft and lose the Java script (which I did not understand) and slim things down and maybe try some new imagery and a slightly different layout, basically. Also, to move closer to that holy grail of separating form from content by keeping the html simple and as directly related to the text itself as possible, and sliding all the bells and whistles into a style sheet. (Style sheets are fun!)
Do note that I’m assuming you have a browser that’s at least capable of parsing CSS1. —If this looks moderately okay, don’t worry about it; you most likely do. I even tried to hack this so it will look okay on IE5 on a Windows machine—but as I don’t have that set-up to hand, I haven’t tested it. But any 4.x or earlier browser of any type (except Opera and Mozilla) will probably choke on the style sheet, and really, there’s no excuse for having a browser that old. (They practically give them away, you know.)
Feel free to drop me a line to let me know if something isn’t working or just plain looks silly or, God knows, if you have some advice; it’s not like I have any idea what I’m doing. And I’ll probably be tweaking all week. Still not entirely happy with that sidebar…
